For a Mater Deian, to teach is to fully participate in nourishing the mind, body, and spirit of the learner. It is a vocation that derives its deepest meaning and fulfillment in helping learners become persons of value.
This is a process that begins with the teacher in caring relationship with the learner through an attitude of courage and diligence that characterize reflective teaching and lifelong learning –all nurtured and sustained by humility and faith.

Facilities and Organizations
Mater Dei Academy is a hub for educational research. It houses the Philippine Association of Mixed Methods Researchers and Emergent Scholars (PAMMRES), the national association of research practioners using mixed methods research across disciplines. Aside from the Research Center, among its new facilities are library with access to on-line materials, Chapel for meditation, Mini Hotel, and Gymn.

From Our EVP
Our dear students, teachers, parents, contributors and friends,
Peace, fellow formators and partners in this mission! I greet you all with joy, thankful to our God who has called us to build this Mater Deian community to take care of every learner He sends our way. Yes, we are fellow formators, including our students whom we form and who also form us in the process.
I am deeply aware that I am not worthy to be entrusted with the nobleness of the call to be a teacher and mentor. But I am also deeply grateful to have witnessed a lot of impossible things happening for us in this mission. Through God’s grace and as we held on to the caring love of His Mother, our source of inspiration and courage, we have persisted and experienced His faithfulness.
Today, we all face the challenges of doing education at the time of COVID 19. The risks and constraints are almost overwhelming but we know that it is during these challenging times that the Lord wants us to care more deeply in journeying with anxious children and their parents.
As we seek to innovate for the safety of our students at this time, we pray that we may continue to give our all as teachers, whether online or offline. Moreover, may the quality of our commitment to continually improve and help each other grow, truly honor the love of the Mother of God for every child.
Thank you to all of you who have trusted and supported us in Mater Dei Academy through the years! May God Himself be your very own blessing!
